2017 Leadville Loppet Registration is Open!!! Sign up by November 30th for discounted pricing!

We are thrilled to announce REGISTRATION IS OPEN (https://register.chronotrack.com/r/21351) for the 2017 Leadville Loppet Nordic Ski Race! This will be the Loppet’s 14th season and it will be the best one yet!

The Leadville Loppet serves as the main fundraising event for our local Mineral Belt Trail. The Mineral Belt is an 11.6 mile loop encompassing the town of Leadville, Colorado. The Trail travels through aspen groves, conifer forests, wildflower meadows, and offers views of the highest mountains in the Rockies. Open all-seasons, the Mineral Belt meanders through the historic Leadville Mining District. The Trail welcomes all, free of charge, and is designed for bicycles, walkers, wheelchairs, strollers and in-line skaters. In wintertime, enthusiasts will find the trail groomed, providing freestyle and classic Nordic skiing, snowshoeing and winter biking.

Loppet racers will test their abilities at high altitude in the 44K, 22K, 10K, or fun 5K and 1K events! The Mineral Belt Trail Board and event organizers have worked hard all year long to improve our Loppet Ski Race. We plan to have course changes, NEW timing, plus clear results, and of course more delicious soups and chilies!
